| 2005 Grant Recipients
John Tronson presented grants from the Hollywood
Chamber of Commerce Foundation to: John Gallogly of
Theatre West, Dr. Lois Lee of Children of the Night,
Andrea Kaufman of Starlight Starbright, Arthur
Rubenstein of Symphony in the Glen, and Carries
Gonzalez and Chris Brazil of Boys & Girls of
Hollywood.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community
Foundation presented the following grants during the
State of Transportation Luncheon, which was held at
the Roosevelt Hotel on Thursday, October 21, 2005
Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood, represented by Chris
Brazil
$2,500 grant for new computer training materials and
arts programs for the children.
Symphony in the Glen, represented by Arthur
Rubenstein
$1,500 grant in support of an outdoor symphony
concert in Hollywood.
Starlight Starbright represented by Andrea Kaufman
$2,500 grant to be used to fund special events for
seriously-ill children staying at Hollywood
hospitals.
Children of the Night, represented by Dr. Lois Lee
$2,500 grant to be used for counseling victims of
sexual abuse prior to their court appearances.
In addition to these, the foundation also presented
a $2,500 check previously to Theatre West to fund
three special performances for Hollywood children,
ages 5 to 8.
