Jeannie Carson is a retired pert, pretty, petite and popular English / Yorkshire comedienne and stage actress. Carson has a "star" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In her early British movies, she performed as Jean Carson, but later changed her forename to Jeannie to avoid confusion with the similarly named American actress Jean Carson.

She starred in the 1956-1957 CBS TV sitcom Hey, Jeannie! as the Scottish character Jeannie MacLennan. In 1960, she met and married Biff McGuire while both were starring in the Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow.
