Thursday, November 20, 2008 | "Four Christmases" at Grauman's
Warner Bros. Special Events premiere of "Four Christmases," is being held at the Grauman's Chinese Theater, located at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard, at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2008.

• Temporary closure of curb lane on north side of Hollywood Boulevard, from Orange Avenue to Highland Avenue, from 12:00 PM (Noon) to 11:30 PM.

• Temporary closure of curb lane on south side of Hollywood Boulevard, from Orange Avenue to mid-block east to crosswalk, from 12:00 PM (Noon) to 11:30 PM.

• North sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard, closed to pedestrian traffic from the northeast corner of Orange Avenue east to Awards Walk at Hollywood and Highland, beginning at 2:00 PM and re-opening at 11:30 PM.

Nov. 20-21, 2008 | "Need for Speed Release" at Hollywood & Highland
Cornerstone Promotion's "Need for Speed Release" is being held from 5PM on Thursday Nov. 20th, 2008 through Friday Nov. 21st, 2008, 1AM at Hollywood and Highland. located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd.

• North Curb Lane of Hollywood Boulevard, from the East side of the mid block crosswalk, East to the East side of Awards Walk 4:OOPM Thursday Nov. 20th to 1:OOAM on Friday Nov. 21, 2008.

• North sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard, from the East side of mid block crosswalk East to the East side of Awards Walk, from 4PM Thursday, Nov 20th to 1;OOAM Thursday Nov. 21st 2008. Pedestrian traffic will be allowed to enter the complex at regular entrances.

Universal Pictures premiere of "The Tale of Despereaux" is being held at the Arc Light Theatres, located at 6360 Sunset Boulevard, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 7, 2008.

• South sidewalk of Sunset Boulevard closed to pedestrian traffic in front of the Cinerama Dome Theater, 6360 Sunset Boulevard (between Ivar Street and Morningside Court) from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Pedestrians will be redirected to the crosswalks on either side of the theater.

• South curb lane of Sunset Boulevard, between Ivar Street and Morningside Court, closed to vehicular traffic from 4:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Orange Ave. will be closed between Hollywood Blvd. and entrance to H&H in order to install rooftop air conditioners.

The Department of Transportation is pleased to announce the launch of its new website at www.ladot.lacity.org LADOT’s new site introduces “Parking in LA,” where anyone can easily find off-street City parking lots, hours of operations, rates, even the number of spaces…with a map service on how to drive there.  In addition, the site’s home page features direct connection to “Real-time Traffic" information, updated every 60 seconds, indicating where traffic congestion is occurring and areas to avoid.  A ‘What’s New’ feature on the home page highlights new information on programs, policies and press events.  Transportation advocates can now download presentations and reports with just one click.  Check DASH and Commuter Express routes and schedules too.

Highland Avenue Widening at Franklin Avenue: Northbound lanes are now open and construction activities have shifted over to the southbound lanes of Highland.
